Volunteering

Volunteering at ASA

We take great joy in extending a warm welcome to our family volunteers within our schools. In truth, we depend on the participation of families and members from the community to complement the dedicated efforts of our teaching personnel. The dedication of your time and the contribution of your skills enrich our school with a wide array of experiences, stemming from both your personal and professional life.

Foremost among our concerns is the safety of our students. To ensure this, and in accordance with state mandates, we have established two tiers of volunteer access, each associated with distinct clearance prerequisites.

Introducing ASA's PAW Patrol

What is PAW Patrol?

ASA’s PAW Patrol (Parents of Awesome Wolves) is an innovative parental involvement initiative at Allegiance STEAM Academy - Thrive. Inspired by nationally recognized programs like WATCH D.O.G.S.®, our PAW Patrol aims to harness the positive impact of family engagement in education by involving all family figures in the school's daily activities and culture.

How it works:

Parents, including mothers, fathers, guardians, and other significant family members, are invited to volunteer at least one day a year as part of our PAW Patrol. Volunteers engage in various activities, from assisting in classrooms and at recess to participating in special projects and school events.

Get involved:

  1. Complete the steps for non-supervised volunteers
  2. Complete the self-paced PAW Patrol training
  3. Submit the Affidavit of Completion.
