🐺 Every Moment Matters: Thank You for Partnering With Us!

A big thank you to all of our families who participated in TRIADs this week!

Every moment we spend connecting, celebrating your student’s growth, reviewing goals, and building a strong home-school partnership matters. Those 25 minutes were filled with meaningful conversations, encouragement, and opportunities to support your student’s success.

Haven’t completed the TRIAD Family Feedback Survey yet? Please take a few minutes to complete it today. Your feedback matters and helps us reflect, celebrate, and continue to grow!

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Every Moment Matters: Service in Action

A special thank you to our PACK families and ASA Leadership students for supporting the service members deployed on the USS Abraham Lincoln!
The care packages and student cards have been delivered and mailed, and the USO created a display featuring the cards our Wolves created for the ship.

This is a wonderful reminder that every moment mattersβ€”a kind note, a thoughtful gesture, or an act of service can make a meaningful difference. We are so proud of our Wolves and their families for putting gratitude, kindness, and service into action!

Thank you, PACK, for your continued support and for helping our Wolves make every moment matter! 🐺

Important: Minimum Day Schedule – Tuesday, November 3

Dear ASA Fontana Families,

Please plan ahead for an important schedule reminder for Tuesday, November 3, 2026. ASA Fontana will serve as a polling location for the November election, and all students will follow our regular minimum day schedule.

Dismissal Times:
  • TK & Kindergarten: 11:25 AM
  • Grades 1–8: 12:30 PM

After-School Programs: Boys & Girls Club and TK Daycare WILL be available for enrolled students. However, there will be NO after-school ELOP sports or clubs on this day.

Thank you for planning ahead and partnering with us to ensure a smooth dismissal. We are proud of the opportunity for ASA Fontana to serve our broader community as a polling location.

Partnering for Student Success: Welcome to Thrive at Home!

At Allegiance STEAM Academy, we know that when home and school align, our students thrive. We are excited to continue our Thrive at Home seriesβ€”a year-long campaign offering quick, research-backed strategies to help families support learning, focus, and character at home.

We invite you to visit our main series hub at asathrive.org/thriveathome to discover practical tools for every stage of the school year.

This October, our schoolwide focus is on building a 20-Minute Daily Reading Ritual. Reading just 20 minutes a day expands vocabulary, strengthens comprehension, and builds critical thinking across every subject.

Please visit asathrive.org/thriveathomeoctober to access this month's resources, including our quick 10-minute podcast episode, printable family guides, and the 20-Day Reading Streak Challenge Tracker!

School Reminder: Campus Safety, Fragrances, and Glass Bottles

We would like to remind families about an important campus safety concern. Recently, we have noticed an increase in students bringing glass bottles of perfume and cologne to school and spraying them in classrooms and restrooms.
While we appreciate our students taking pride in their personal grooming, this has created health and safety concerns on campus:

Health & Safety:
Strong fragrances and excessive spraying can trigger allergic reactions, headaches, and respiratory issues, particularly for individuals with asthma. To help maintain a safe and comfortable breathing environment for everyone, our classrooms and shared spaces should remain fragrance-free.

Glass Bottles:
Glass containers can break and cause serious injuries. Per school policy, glass containers are not permitted on campus.

How Families Can Help:
  • Please remind your student to apply perfume or cologne at home before coming to school.
  • Please ensure that glass fragrance bottles stay at home and are not brought in backpacks.
  • Talk with your middle schooler about how strong or excessive fragrances can affect the health and well-being of classmates and staff.

Moving forward, any glass fragrance bottles brought to campus or fragrances sprayed in common spaces may be confiscated by staff and held for parent/guardian pickup, in accordance with our student conduct and discipline guidelines.
Thank you for your understanding and partnership in helping us maintain a safe, healthy, and welcoming campus for everyone. πŸ’šπŸ’›

CAMPUS & FACILITIES UPDATE

We know our families and Wolves are eager for updates on our campus environment. We want to provide our families with an update on our physical campusβ€”both the direct improvements our team has implemented and the status of district-managed projects.

School-Led Improvements
To ensure our students have a secure and comfortable learning environment, our ASA Fontana team has directly initiated and completed several recent upgrades:
  • Upgraded Security Surveillance: A comprehensive security camera system is currently being installed across campus to enhance overall safety and monitoring.
  • Filtered Water Hydration Station: A new filtered water refill station has been installed, giving students easy access to clean drinking water throughout the day.
  • Targeted Climate Control: In response to an outage in one of our classroom AC units, FUSD installed a mobile air conditioning unit to keep the space comfortable until the primary unit's full replacement.

District-Managed Property & Playground Status

Because ASA Fontana leases our campus facility, capital improvements and structural property developments are managed through Fontana Unified School District (FUSD).
While the initial playground installation phase has been completed on the campus, the space requires a few remaining finishing items and final safety inspections before it can be officially opened for regular student use.
  • Prioritizing Student Safety: Ensuring the space fully meets all required safety and operational standards is top priority. The playground area will open once final clearance steps are complete by FUSD.
  • Ongoing Coordination: Our administration remains in regular communication with district staff to receive updates on the project schedule, final inspections, and next steps for completion.

We share our families' enthusiasm for a fully completed campus and appreciate your patience while these final property details are finalized. We will continue to share updates as soon as confirmed timelines are provided by the district.
