๐Ÿพ Final Week of the 25โ€“26 School Year ๐Ÿพ

Dear ASA Families,
We have reached the final week of the school yearโ€”an exciting, meaningful, and emotional milestone for our entire school community. This week, our theme is โ€œCount Me In!โ€ and it reflects exactly what we need from all of us as we close out the year together: partnership, presence, and positivity.

As we enter these last four days, we are asking everyone to help us keep students on track by reinforcing routines, expectations, and a sense of responsibility right up to the very end. Even as the excitement builds, consistency matters and helps students finish the year strong.
The end of the school year naturally brings big feelings for students and adults alikeโ€”pride, joy, anticipation, and sometimes a little overwhelm or sadness as we say goodbye to another year of growth. These feelings are normal and expected. We appreciate your support in talking with your child about respect, kindness, and making good choices as we navigate this final stretch together.

We also encourage families to help students savor these last days. There is so much to celebrateโ€”growth, friendships, new learning, and resilience. A simple conversation at home about what your child is proud of this year can make a lasting impact.

And for our students: if they seem tired, thatโ€™s because theyโ€™ve done a lot of learning and growing this year. There is pride in that effort, and we are so grateful for the journey weโ€™ve shared together.

๐ŸŽ“ A special message to our 8th grade Wolves who are promoting:
We are so proud of you. You are stepping into your next chapter with the foundation youโ€™ve built here at ASAโ€”your growth, your resilience, your friendships, and your voice all matter. As you move on, carry with you the Wolves Ways, remember that you are capable of great things, and know that you will always be part of our ASA family. We celebrate you today and always.

Letโ€™s work together to make these final days meaningful, positive, and memorable for all Wolves.

Thank you for your continued partnership and s
support.

Count me in. ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿ’›

Fontana Facilities Update

We know many of our Fontana families have been asking about the installation of the play structure and shade structure, and we are excited to share a positive update.
Per our Facilities Use Agreement with the Fontana Unified School District, these projects are the responsibility of the district. We are happy to share that the plans have now been approved by the Division of the State Architect (DSA).

This approval is an important step forward, and we are currently awaiting confirmation from the district and their architect regarding the next steps and timeline for installation.
We appreciate your patience and continued support as we work with FUSD to bring these exciting improvements to our campus. We look forward to seeing these new additions for our Wolves soon!

Counseling Connection๐ŸŽ

This Weekโ€™s Social Emotional Learning(SEL) Skill: Transitioning & Saying Goodbye ๐ŸŒŸ

Transitioning & saying goodbye means moving from one thing to another and ending something in a kind and respectful way. Transitions can happen when changing grades, leaving a class, moving to a new place, or saying goodbye to friends and teachers.

Sometimes transitions can feel exciting, and other times they can feel hard or emotional, but they are a normal part of life. When we say goodbye, we can use kind words, share how we feel, and remember the good moments while getting ready for what comes next. ๐Ÿ’š

๐Ÿ’ฌ Character Skill Reflections:
  • How do you feel when itโ€™s time to say goodbye or move on to something new?
  • What is a kind way you can say goodbye to someone?
  • What can help you feel better when a transition feels hard?

If you have any questions or would like counseling support for your child, you can reach Mr. Thornhill at (909) 258-9937 or via email at aodhan.thornhill@asathrive.org
