Our wolves are off to a strong start! A big shoutout to our 5th and 8th graders for leading the way with the California Science Test—we are so proud of their focus and determination.
Thank you, families, for your continued encouragement and support at home. It truly makes a difference!
This week, our 3rd–8th grade students will begin the CAASPP ELA (English Language Arts) assessments. We are confident they are Wolf Ready and prepared to give their very best!
A few important reminders to help our students succeed:
-
On-time arrival is essential. Once testing begins, students who arrive late will not be allowed into the classroom and will be placed in an alternative setting until testing concludes for the morning.
-
Headphones will be provided. Please remember that AirPods and personal devices are not permitted during state testing.
🐾 Count Me In! 🐾
We invite all of our wolves—students and families—to take on this mindset during testing:
✔️ Count me in to show up on time.
✔️ Count me in to give my best effort.
✔️ Count me in to support and encourage others.
🐾 Parent Volunteers – This is YOUR time! 🐾
We are excited to celebrate and honor you at our upcoming Parent Volunteer Appreciation Brunch. Please be sure to RSVP so we can finalize plans for this special morning—we can’t wait to recognize you!
Thank you, families, for ensuring students come to school in dress code and ready to learn each day. Your partnership helps keep our wolves focused, confident, and successful.
Warmly,
Mrs Valenta

We know many of our Fontana families have been asking about the installation of the play structure and shade structure, and we are excited to share a positive update.
Per our Facilities Use Agreement with the Fontana Unified School District, these projects are the responsibility of the district. We are happy to share that the plans have now been approved by the Division of the State Architect (DSA).
This approval is an important step forward, and we are currently awaiting confirmation from the district and their architect regarding the next steps and timeline for installation.
We appreciate your patience and continued support as we work with FUSD to bring these exciting improvements to our campus. We look forward to seeing these new additions for our Wolves soon!

This Week’s Social Emotional Learning(SEL) Skill: Time Management 🌟
Time management means using your time wisely so you can get things done and still have time for fun. It helps you plan ahead, stay organized, and finish your work on time.
When you manage your time well, you feel more prepared, less stressed, and ready to do your best. ⏰💚
💬 Character Skill Reflections:
- What does “good” time management look like in the classroom? What about at home?
- What is something you can do to get better at managing your time?
- Why is it important to practice getting better at time management?
If you have any questions or would like counseling support for your child, you can reach Mr. Thornhill at (909) 258-9937 or via email at aodhan.thornhill@asathrive.org
