A heartfelt thank you to all of our families who joined us for the annual Fontana Christmas Parade! Once again, our ASA community showed up in full spirit and demonstrated the excellence we are so proud of.
From our wolves singing Jingle Bells in Mandarin and Feliz Navidad, to our fight song, cheer team performing to Jingle Bell Rock, drumline and tall flags marching in cadence, and our Lion Dancers—this parade was a beautiful showcase of what STEAM and community truly look like at ASA. A special thank you to our students for their patience during the “waiting” moments of the parade—you represented ASA with pride!
It may have felt like Christmas in July, but together we shared the true magic of the season with our Fontana community.
A huge thank you to the Villalpando family for renting and generously donating the flatbed trailer that transformed into our incredible singing float.
As we carry this holiday spirit forward, we are still accepting donations for the Fontana Toy Drive through Wednesday, which will be the last day to bring in donations. Thank you for helping us model for our wolves the importance of giving back and supporting others in our community.
We are looking forward to finishing the 2025 year strong with meaningful learning taking place this week and closing out the year with our Winter STEAM Day, where students will engage in hands-on STEAM activities in their classrooms.

Fontana Unified School District, in partnership with the Fontana School Police Department, Fontana Teachers Association, United Steel Workers, Fontana Foundation of Hope, Fontana School Police Officer’s Association, and Fontana Management Association, is collecting new, unwrapped toys and gift cards for children in our Fontana community.

We know many of our Fontana families have been asking about the installation of the play structure and shade structure. Per our Facilities Use Agreement with the Fontana Unified School District, these projects are the responsibility of the district.
The latest update from FUSD indicates that the plans are still with civil engineers and must reach 80% completion before being submitted to the Division of the State Architect (DSA) for approval. The district is awaiting confirmation from their architect on next steps.
We will continue to share updates as soon as we receive them. Thank you for your patience as we work with FUSD to ensure these much-anticipated improvements move forward for our Wolves. |

This is a friendly reminder that there will be no TK after-school program on Friday, December 19th due to FUSD staff working in our TK area. Please make the necessary arrangements for your child’s pick-up.
Additionally, December 19th is a Minimum Day for all TK students. Please review the dismissal times below:
Minimum Day Schedule – Friday, December 19th - TK AM: Dismissal at 11:25 a.m. — students must be picked up by 12:40 p.m.
- TK PM: Dismissal at 12:40 p.m.

Open Enrollment for new students ends soon—be sure your family and friends submit their applications before the deadline at asathrive.schoolmint.com. Currently enrolled students do not need to reapply. Returning Student Registration is a separate process that will take place in the spring.

This special event brings Chino and Fontana together as we cheer each other on and celebrate everything that makes our ASA Wolfpack strong. Whether your student loves to run, spike, score, or cheer from the sidelines, there’s something for everyone!

This is a reminder regarding Immunization requirements for the 2025-2026 school year. If you haven't done so already, please make an appointment now with your child’s doctor to ensure that they receive all school required vaccines. You can now request access to your child’s Digital Vaccine Record to provide proof of immunizations.
