Fontana Facilities Update

We know many of our Fontana families have been asking about the installation of the play structure and shade structure. Per our Facilities Use Agreement with the Fontana Unified School District, these projects are the responsibility of the district.

The latest update from FUSD indicates that the plans are still with civil engineers and must reach 80% completion before being submitted to the Division of the State Architect (DSA) for approval. The district is awaiting confirmation from their architect on next steps.

We will continue to share updates as soon as we receive them. Thank you for your patience as we work with FUSD to ensure these much-anticipated improvements move forward for our Wolves.

Counseling Connection🍎

🧠 This Week’s Social Emotional Learning(SEL) Skill: Building Social Skills 🌟

Building social skills means learning how to communicate, cooperate, and build positive relationships with others. It includes listening, sharing, showing empathy, and understanding how our words and actions affect those around us.

When you practice healthy social skills, you learn how to work well in groups, solve problems respectfully, and create strong connections with classmates and teachers. 🤝

💬 Character Skill Reflections:
  • What is something I did this week that helped me build a positive relationship with someone else?
  • What is one social skill—like listening, cooperating, or showing empathy—that I want to get better at, and what steps can I take to practice it?

If you have any questions or would like counseling support for your child, you can reach Mr. Thornhill at (909) 258-9937 or via email at aodhan.thornhill@asathrive.org

We kindly remind all parents to be respectful and mindful to our staff 💚 as they work hard to ensure the safety of your student every day. 🐺

🚸 Permission to Walk To/From School & Release of Liability

Dear Parents/Guardians,

If your student plans to walk home after school, we kindly ask that you complete the Permission to Walk To/From School & Release of Liability Form linked here. As a reminder students are to walk off campus and to not wait in front of the school to be picked up in the car line.

This form ensures that we have your consent for your child to walk home safely and acknowledges that the school is not responsible for any incidents that may occur while they are walking.

Please complete the form directly in ParentSquare to ensure your child's safety and compliance with school procedures.

Thank you for your attention to this matter!
