Together We Can. Together We Did.

As we close out this incredible year, I can’t help but reflect on the marigold garden we’ve planted togetherβ€”both literally and symbolically.

Earlier this year, I shared The Marigold Story with our staff and students, encouraging us all to be marigolds: to protect our garden, help one another grow, and lead with kindness.

To our ASA familiesβ€”thank you for being marigolds too. Your partnership, support, and presence have made all the difference. Whether you volunteered your time, showed up at events, or simply encouraged your wolf through each school day, you helped us grow something beautiful.

I’ve always told my own children to leave a place better than you found it, and that’s exactly what we’ve done here. While the garden we’ve nurtured will remain on this campus, the heart of what we’ve built will move with us to our very own campus next year. 🌱🏫

It’s an exciting time ahead! Please stay tunedβ€”we’ll be reaching out this summer to ask for your help as we prepare for our big move. We can’t wait to open the doors of our new home with you by our side.

A reminder for our last day of school: Students may enjoy Summer Fun Free Dress! β˜€οΈ Please ensure outfits follow the school dress code policy to keep things safe and respectful for everyone.

Let’s enjoy these last few days togetherβ€”lifting one another up, celebrating all we’ve accomplished, and sending off our 8th graders with love and pride. They’ll always be part of the ASA wolf pack.

Together We Can. Together We Did.

With deep appreciation,
Mrs. Valenta 🐾🌼

AB 84 Could Impact ASA - Learn More Below

Dear ASA Families,

If passed as written, AB 84 could:
  • Divert more than $210 million away from California charter schools
  • Make it harder to open new charter public schools
  • Add new administrative barriers and cut funding for nonclassroom-based learning programs
  • Increase operational costs through additional layers of bureaucracy
We believe it’s important for families to understand the potential effects this bill could have on our students, teachers, and school programs.

ASA’s Nonprofit Role:
  • We do not endorse candidates.
  • We share neutral, factual information.
  • You are welcome to advocate personally.
For additional information and tools to contact your legislators, visit:
Thank you for staying informed and supporting Allegiance STEAM Academy and all California charter school students!
We hope to see you online tomorrow evening.

Sincerely,
Sebastian Cognetta, Ed.D.
