We’re so excited to kick off Staff Appreciation Week and shine a BIG spotlight on the heart of our schoolβ€”our incredible ASA teachers and staff! They show up every day with love, dedication, and a fierce commitment to our wolvesβ€”and now it’s our turn to shower them with the appreciation they deserve! πŸ’š

Come join the fun and cheer on your favorite team in our first-ever Kickball Game as the 8th graders take on the staff!
  • Time: 8:15–9:00 AM

  • Special Guest: DJ Mr. Garcia will be spinning tunes and pumping up the crowd!

  • 🐾 Wear your ASA spirit gear to show your pride!

🎨 ASA Color Face-Off – Thursday, May 15th
Let’s wrap up the year with a final Spirit Day full of color and class pride!
  • During Monday Morning Live on May 5th, each grade level will randomly draw a color from: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Pink, Black, or White.

  • On Thursday, May 15th, students will come dressed head-to-toe in their assigned color!

Let’s finish the year strong β€” full of laughter, color, competition, and that unstoppable ASA energy β€” all while learning continues to take place every day! πŸ’₯πŸΊπŸ’›

Get Ready! Returning Student Registration Opens Monday

πŸ“£ Returning Student Registration Opens Monday, May 5!


It’s almost time to secure your child’s spot for the 2025–2026 school year!
Returning Student Registration will open this coming Monday, May 5, 2025, through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

This online process is required for all returning ASA students. It allows us to finalize class rosters, assign teachers, and prepare to welcome your Wolves back in August.

  • Registration Opens: Monday, May 5
  • Registration Deadline: Monday, May 12

You're Invited: ASA CEO Town Hall – Thursday, May 8

We warmly invite you to join us on campus for our Quarterly CEO Town Hall Meeting taking place Thursday, May 8 at both ASA campuses.

Dr. Cognetta will be sharing key insights from our recent LCAP survey, highlighting how ASA is listening to your voices and taking meaningful steps to address the feedback we've received. This is a powerful opportunity to see how your input helps shape the direction of our schools.

Additional topics will include:
  • Updates on AB 48 and what it means for our campuses
  • Information about returning student registration
  • A preview of enrollment projections for the 2025–2026 school year

🚨 Reminder! - No After-School Care (TK-8th)

This is a reminder that there will be NO Boys & Girls Club OR TK After School Care on the following days:

  • May 13–14 due to STEAM Live
  • May 19 is a regular school day for all students
  • May 20–22 are minimum days for all students


βœ…The last day of Boys & Girls Club will be Friday, May 16.

As our staff prepares for the exciting move to our new campus πŸ«, we need to provide teachers with dedicated afternoon time during these minimum days. We truly appreciate your support and understanding during this important transition!

🚸 Permission to Walk To/From School & Release of Liability ​

Dear Parents/Guardians,

If your student plans to walk home after school, we kindly ask that you complete the attached Permission to Walk To/From School & Release of Liability Form πŸ“‘.

This form ensures that we have your consent for your child to walk home safely and acknowledges that the school is not responsible for any incidents that may occur while they are walking.

Please complete and return the form to the front office to ensure your child's safety and compliance with school procedures.

Medication at School

If your child requires daily, as needed, and/or emergency medication in the health office for the 2024-2025 school year please make sure you have completed all the medication forms required.

All medication, including prescribed and over the counter must have a physician signed authorization form. Please visit the Health Office Web Page-ASA Thrive Fontana, to find all the necessary forms required for your child’s medical needs.

 

Immunization Requirements

This is a reminder regarding Immunization requirements for the 2024-2025 school year. If you haven't done so already, please make an appointment now with your child’s doctor to ensure that they receive all school required vaccines. You can now request access to your child’s Digital Vaccine Record to provide proof of immunizations.

The health and safety of your child is very important to us here at Allegiance STEAM Academy Thrive. Please do not forget to inform the health office of any health concerns you have regarding your child.
