| A Weekend to Remember & What’s Ahead at ASA! |
Dear ASA Families,
What an incredible weekend! Thank you all for your amazing support at our first Clash of the Pack—congratulations to Chino for taking home the trophy! 🏆🐺 But as Dr. Cognetta said, this was more than a game; it was about sportsmanship and hard work. We’re already excited for next year! A huge shoutout to our cheerleaders for bringing their A-game and to our parents for showing up in full force. Special thanks to PACK for the fantastic decorations and for running the snack bar!
February is flying by, and it’s packed with celebrations—Black History Month, Ms. Elvas' Chinese New Year event, Valentine’s Day, and Student-Led Celebrations. 📢 Reminders: 🔸 Last day to turn in Friendship Grams is Tuesday! Don't miss out on sending a sweet note to a friend. 🔸 Our Chinese New Year Celebration is this Wednesday! See details below we still need volunteers! 🔸 Student-Led Celebrations: Sign-ups have been sent out by classroom teachers—be sure to check ParentSquare!
With all this excitement, let’s remember to support one another. A kind word, a smile, or a little patience in the car line goes a long way. If you can volunteer in the mornings (7:45-8:05) to assist with drop-off, please email me at Cyndi.Valenta@asathrive.org or let the front office know—we’d love your help!
Thank you for being part of our ASA community! Let’s finish February strong—together! 💚🐾
| Celebrate Chinese New Year With Us! 🧧🎉 |
As part of their Mandarin Chinese enrichment, our TK-3rd and 8th-grade students have been working hard to prepare a special Chinese New Year performance! Families of TK-3rd and 8th graders are invited to watch their students perform in the Den on Feb. 12 from 8:45-9:25 AM. Please arrive 10 minutes early and check in will be directly into the Den.
Throughout the morning, Ms. Elva and her amazing team of volunteers will be hosting activity stations for all grade levels to enjoy. We still need volunteers to help run these stations—if you're available next Wednesday, please sign up here
Did you know? Red is believed to bring good fortune an essential color during Chinese New Year! As part of the festivities, we invite students to wear red, which symbolizes good luck, happiness, and prosperity in Chinese culture. ❤️🐉
Thank you for your support in making this a memorable event!

| | 📢 Important Reminder for All Families: 🚗 |
To ensure the safety of all our Wolves during drop-off and pick-up, please keep the following in mind: - Always make sure students exit the car on the right side for their safety.
- If you are in the carline, please do not leave your car unattended to keep the line moving smoothly.
- For clubs and sports, we kindly ask parents to park and walk up to the gate to pick up their students. Due to limited staff, we do not have the support needed to safely walk students to their cars.
- In the morning, if you arrive late and the gate is shut, please park and walk your student into the front office to sign them in.
🐾Together We Can keep our students safe and show respect for one another during these busy times. Thank you for your cooperation!🐾
